That's what it's all about

WEEK OF Mar 18 - 25, 2024

The week began with a frustrating few days of trying to get my eye-drop prescription filled while insurance company claimed it was too soon - despite doctor's orders. Sigh. My usual Tuesday meeting with Terry was delayed on that account and the Friday meeting due to hazardous driving following a night of snow. That may be an issue again this week.

I've kept up with most household stuff, but have been tired and am thinking to take it easy for Minicon this year. I don't have to be in the art show and do author readings and participate on panels and join late night song circles, which are pretty much out anyhow because night-driving is too much for me at present. If I hadn't already paid for my membership I'd be tempted to skip the convention. But just hanging around with friends, playing some games and visiting, all sound like enough fun.

I did attempt to tune my mandolin this week - but broke a string and have not tried to replace it yet. I have another follow-up eye exam on the Thursday before Minicon.
