Missions accomplished yesterday:

  • half an hour on the phone to RBMG, trying to connect to someone who can forward the Payoff Statement to Realtor Corrine. The number Kim W gave me connected me to Collections, who forwarded me to Customer Service who referred me back to Loan Counseling, so I ended by sending a new email to Kim, asking for a better reference.

  • Walked over to the Government Center and got my driver's license renewed in the nick of time before my birthday.

  • Deposited belated paycheck in time to cover another D***ed overdraft. Curses on usurious penalties. Curses on having no choice from my ISP but automated withdrawals.

  • Quality time with Tigger. He's acting particularly needy since Tagster and Emilie have disappeared from our lives and Jill moved out. When I'm sitting or lying down his preferred post is right on top of me, and he's one heavy cat. (His rash is clearing up after the application of a flea collar.) The Lost Boys are starting to get cozier with me, too. Skippy is even coming up onto the bed with us.
