Yeah, me! Yesterday Mary Ann gave me an idea, and when I got home I sewed small chunk-beads of quartz and amethyst onto a set of my Marks of Distinction business cards. (As I worked I watched the DVD of Holes). Today I've got the newly decorated business cards with me, to bring over to M'Or Designs on my lunch hour so I can set them out near the beaded bookmarks I have on sale there.
Over yesterday's lunch hour Mary Ann and I took a walk through the skyway (thank Heaven for the skyways and everyone who made them possible! It was four degrees below zero outside.) We visited M'Or Designs to admire the crystals, and while there I ran into Giovanna F. I solicited artwork from her and Ken Fletcher for the Minicon Program book, and raised the idea of putting Ken in touch with my uncle Jim, who is looking for a cartoonist to help him realize an idea he can no longer execute himself because of his Parkinson's.
Poor me! My personal computer is ailing again. It came up in Safe Mode, with this message:
"There is a problem with your display settings. The adapter type is incorrect, or the current settings do not work with your hardware."
I ran some diagnostics, but really don't know what I'm doing when it comes to that sort of thing, and don't understand how the adapter type or settings can be incorrect when they are the same ones I've been using all along.
Help?
