Also: I started a 2 week temp assignment at Dain Rauscher.

I didn't do much this week socially; I've felt more like snuggling in with the cats and a good book or two. (Especially since it started raining).

I didn't send out illustration samplers per my goal list, since I was busy on the gallery-hunt front instead, and I didn't go to the May Day Parade, since learning that's coming up Next weekend.

I didn't do much creative work this week, either, but did make a start on a new bookmark that I intend to be one of my larger, more elaborate pieces. I walked up to Storm Cloud Trading to get just the right gray beads to go with the Laboradorite accents. (I plan to use a lot of Labroadorite on this: most of two strands of shaped and polished beads with a lot of 'flash' in them, that cost me between $30-$40 for each strand.)

I also didn't make any progress on the survey I started (the idea is to ask people about what they want in The Future: what kinds of technology and societal developments, since I have this odd idea that investing in causes that make a desireable future more likely may actually make the future more desireable.)

I did make a good start on lyrics for two songs, and made progress on an essay on questions of belief. (I came across my Minister's credentials and have been thinking about just what it is that I have to contribute in that area). The main idea is that I want to consider religious ideas from a perspective that is somewhat objective, without all the loaded, sectarian terminology.
