I don't feel as if this past week was very productive. I was working a temp job downtown (only six-hour days, but another hour and a half each day on the bus, too, plus I seldom feel creative after spending time downtown.) Anyhow. I did keep up with the weekly chores, and was pretty good with daily stuff, though not perfect.
Things I did do include research on Geothermal heating, attending the Green Living Expo at the State Fairgrounds and attending a Mnstf Meeting. Also: researching back through the archives of the Web Design LJ to look up some entries on alternatives to using Frames for my portfolio galleries.
I had a bad experience recently when I saw what my frames pages look like in the Opera browser. Aagh! (Apparently it treats a frame as a table cell, which puts my main frames way down at the bottom of the menu frames.) My research showed possibilities: an alternative could be done with JavaScript, which I don't know very well, or PHP which I don't know at all, or Flash, which I know, but would be unweildy to keep updated. Dang. Frames work so well for what they do; I wish they weren't being deprecated.
I also made progress on the first draft of an essay, for a new website I'm thinking of calling, 'Chapel Perilous,' in which I want to consider some questions of Faith and different beliefs - just my personal exploration of issues that come to mind.
Today I went out early and took some digital photos of the local traffic signals. Specifically, the 'walk' and 'don't walk' signs. One of my goals for this week is to make T-shirt art for my CafePress shop's Weird Religion section, on behalf of the Trafficarian Sect.
Weekly goals:

Weekly goals:
- Daily stuff & weekly chores
- Call in to Kelly's
- Trafficarian art for CafePress Shop
- Go to the Dollar Store & look for sets of colors to include with Coloring Books to sell at ConVergence Dealer's room.
- Experiment with JavaScript version of gallery to see how it works, if I can include the relevant text and PayPal buttons.
- More progress with essay, set up Chapel
- (If not on temp assignment) at least 4 hours a day creative work (web design counts), one of which must be fiction-writing.
