My brother, David and family gave me a Best Buy gift card for my birthday. I went out and used it to buy Season 1 of the Kung Fu TV series on DVD (starring David Carradine). I had a huge crush on this character when I was in college; that's cooled, but I'm still enjoying seeing the old series again. I still like the taoist philisophy scattered through the show, but I didn't remember how much of it consists of confrontations with machismo-blinded men who need to learn the error of their ways.
