laramie at 11:51am on 03/02/2007When my alarm went off at six I figured I'd skip yoga today. I rolled over and went back to sleep. It's too cold to go out.
I woke up again at seven-thirty and had to get up anyhow; by the time I got dressed I'd already decided that I didn't want to be the weak link in the chain that keeps the class going (or to disappoint my teacher), and I still had time to make it to class.
It's lucky that I did: I just barely managed to get the car started; if I'd skipped class and let the car sit out in the cold all morning the battery would probably have died completely. Now I've been to class, stopped at The Wedge for the weekend shopping trip, and gotten home again, and the engine had a chance to warm up properly en route.
New thing from the Wedge: SoyNut Butter, a lot like peanutbutter but no peanuts. I'm having some now with apple slices.
