I got my synopsis pared down yesterday, and today I got the first forty pages of story pared down to include just the basics that I want to give a good impression of the story for the San Antonio Romance Authors contest (for as yet unpublished authors). I submitted my entry online and mailed off the release form via Express Mail just now.

(I stopped at CopyMax and mailed off a copy of the third draft to Jill while I was at it.)

I suppose that most people on my Friends List will have already heard, from multiple sources, about the break-in at Dreamhaven Books.

Let me just mention that the right book can make the ultimate romantic Valentine's Day gift. :)
