My critique partner, Lizbeth Selvig, talks about the Retired Racehorse Training Project, in which her daughter, Jen is involved:

This and her vet practice have led Jen to interactions with many different horse organizations including one called the Retired Racehorse Training Project (RRTP). In May she heard about the group’s newest project – the Retired Racehorse Makeover. The purpose of the makeover is to have 26...professional and amateur trainers take an OTTB (off the track thoroughbred), a horse that has never done anything but race, train it for a new job, then bring it to Baltimore by October and show off what it can do.
