The dental appointment I had scheduled for last Monday was derailed when a gunman held someone hostage in the hotel next door to the parking ramp on Washington Avenue across from Moos Tower & the dental school. Police had barricaded every approach and I couldn't find alternate parking on zero notice. It's been rescheduled. *

 

I did a little bit of writing during the week: tiny progress on current works, a draft for a newsletter I need to send out and a short piece to contribute to an article by the book editor at the Pioneer Press, asking recent award winners of MFW about our dream Valentine's dates. I'm not sure when this will be published, but hope I'll be informed. 

 

Last week's Filk circle inspired me to create a digital (epub & mobi) version of our songbook - as of Saturday I completed that. I still need to inform the other filkers and solicit them to contribute entries to an expanded version. Since I published this edition in 2007, we've added a great many songs to supplemental folders. I'm hoping to make it available to attendees of our concert at Minicon, so those who wish can sing along.

 

I've also been making progress on household organization with a mind to moving house in the spring. (See previous post).
