A good time. Despite the soccer game at the high school across the street from Karen's place, which had tied up all the available parking on Marshall, so that I had to lug my instrument and gear around from Dayton.
We started out having our pot luck supper in Karen's beautiful garden. There was enough sunshine - at first - that it was warm enough to sit outside. I had a chance to chat a bit with Anne H about her real estate experiment, and with her and Jerry about HTML. We moved indoors before the singing began.
We've had fairly small turnouts lately, but there was a good crowd when we got around to singing. Pat and Ted showed up, who I hadn't seen in a while. Pat has a very good singing voice and it was fun to harmonize with her. Jerry brought a handout with 'I Walk the Line' and 'Ring of Fire' on it - both fun numbers.
I discovered that my new Large Print version of the RUS songbook has some chord sets that are different from those printed in the original edition. I'm going to have to go through both books to do a comparison and write in the original chords where they're missing - if I want to be able to play along with the others.
