I've been going through the new Large Print version of the songbook, page by page, comparing it to my old edition. There are a lot of songs in the new book that use different chord sets than the old book. When singing in a group it's desirable to use the same key as everyone else. :P
I've gotten through more than half the book, writing in the alternate chords so that I can use them at the singalongs. At first I was irked by every incident, but I have to admit that it may come in handy to have some alternate chords for some of the songs; it looks like the new keys will be more singable for at least some songs, like 'Dream a Little Dream of Me' which got a tad too high using the old version.
