laramie at 04:10pm on 29/04/2006Yes, once again, I've overcome insignificant odds and done not only the weekly grocery shopping, but got my Property Tax return into the mail, stopped at the bank and Office Max, and even stopped at Evenstar to check on the status of my consignment items there (I made $10.50!).
Finally, I stopped at Willies American Guitar shop. People at Hoffman's and Homestead had referred me to Willies as the local distributor for National, who make the Resophnonic, dobro-style mandolin. Willies had not one, but two dobro-style mandolins in the store! Of course, I couldn't afford either one just now, but the proprietor assured me that if these have sold by the time I'm ready to buy he can get another one in for me. (Yay!)
Meanwhile, the laundry continues.
