Better

My voice is doing a bit better today: the upper register is there; the lower register is mostly there, though it's all still weak. TG for air conditioning and non-drying decongestants.

The third and final illo for TOTU is progressing nicely. I hope to complete it today. Then I'll need to contact EricH for info on formatting & delivery, then scan & format all 3 illustrations and deliver them.

Hopefully, by that point I'll be well enough to resume the search for temp jobs.

You were missed at filking, but we got along without you. My friend Matt finally was able to come, and he had a good time. Scott and Jim were also there, in addition to my father and me, Rich, Greta, and David. Eight people are no instruments but percussion. But such percussion! thanks to David's deep, huge drum and gigantic wooden frog. Our favorite songs took on a whole new feeling--grim, even military at times.

I look forward to seeing the next issue of TotU.

I'm glad the filking went ahead, and sorry to have missed it. It sounds like a good turn-out. It's amusing to think of a grim/military version of 'Mary O'Meara.'

This cold will teach me to keep up with my breathing meditations (I was getting lax) - it's the 2nd bad cold I've had in the past three years since I started doing them regularly.
