Last night's circle was fun, but diminished by the absence of Richard T, who has injured his foot. Get well soon, Richard!
There were only four of us. I think the rain may have daunted some, and the Bilbo and Frodo birthday party was probably still going on. I'd debated David L's invitation to join both events, but thought it might have been awkward for any filkers who weren't Tolkein fans (not that I know of any) or who didn't want to feel limited to Tolkein themes, and for any Rivendellers who weren't fans of other varieties of filk.
