I'll be bringing my work to the local Pagan Pride event at Sabathani on 38th Ave in S.Mpls on the 7th.
I wanted to send art to some of the six (6 !) SF conventions listed on Locus for that weekend. But it looks like I won't be able to send it to any of them.
Of the six shows:
Archon, Albacon and Conclave all have rules about print runs of 500 or less to qualify for the art show, or it’s past the deadline to register for their show. Context doesn’t seem to have an art show at all. Silicon is a comics con, V-con is in Vancouver, Canada, and I lost a lot of money mailing art to them last year that was returned to me unopened – apparently never even reached the con.
It looks like the next show I can send art to is Icon in Cedar Rapids, IA. That’s close enough to attend in person, but comes right in advance of OVFF the following weekend.
So; the questions are:
1) Can I survive traveling to two cons on two consecutive weekends? And
2) Can I find cat sitters for two consecutive weekends, and will the cats forgive me?

It's funny that prints which are in actuality only 1-12 of 12 should be unwelcome because they are labeled 1-12 of 2000. Especially funny since, not being able to offer them at cons, it's all the less likely I'll ever add to the print runs.
