Only about 1000 words today, but I also did some review reading in Atchity's book A Writer's Time, particularly the chapter on structure - then I reviewed my whole storyline, to verify the justification for each scene. I definitely gave short shrift to the final scenes in my haste to finish the story by the end of November, but I've thinking I need either to cut some of the backstory stuff, or pace it differently - interspersing backstory with some of the later scenes, to draw out the tension.
