Yes, and yes. For me, the trick is to let that love flow without ever letting myself feel either like a spendthrift for it spilling on the unworthy, or falling back into the "Well, maybe if I give them even more of my love and energy, they'll become worthy".

Yeah. Their worthiness is their job.

I'm working on remembering that loving is something I do because of who I am and who I want to be. Love doesn't need validation from the recipients; that's my ego. If my ego isn't getting validation from others I need to remember to validate myself, and maybe seek more of the company that is validating.
