- Called Bryan, re repairs to the tub (well, actually, it's the kitchen ceiling below the tub that shows the most damage. We're hoping that, while replacing that section of ceiling, the cause of the leakage will be discovered and curable.)
- Called the City of Minneapolis to arrange a voucher for bringing in a load of solid waste on Saturday.
- Called Ray to arrange his help in hauling the stuff. He's currently down with a cold, which is why he missed the Rise Up Singing group last night, but he's taking care of himself and hopes to be able by Saturday.
- Went to the Government Center on my way for lunch and paid for new tabs for the car. (Today is the day my license is officially suspended for a month, but that didn't interfere with my using it to apply for the tabs.) I got a whole new set of license plates, in fact. They are shiny and clean. They will not stay that way for long, the winter roads being what they are around here.
The Rise Up Singing circle was a lot of fun. Especially singing Jingle Bell Rock! We sang a round or ten of That Old Time Religion (featuring Aphrodite, Odin, Buddha et alia) along with Deck the Halls with Boston Charley – as counterpoint to all the more religious songs of the season. I'm planning to do it all again next weekend when

Over the weekend Realtor Corrine had an Open House both days, with little in the way of results. We're discussing lowering the asking price on the house, and she wants to go round with me to look at some of the comparable houses for sale in the area so we can see what the potential buyers are seeing.
During yesterday's Open House I went out for lunch and was thinking of seeing the extended version of The Two Towers, but got to the theater too late to see the early show, and hours early for the later showing. I went to Sam Goody instead and bought it on DVD. I watched part of it before going to the sing along and the rest when I got home. I liked all the added bits, and am now primed for seeing The Return of the King on Saturday.
