It's a gloomy, chilly, gray October morning. I'm all alone at home.

Remind me that there are people out there besides the ones on the tv. Tell me something you think I should know about you.

Hey, Skylarker. What you should know about me? I finally discovered Terry Pratchett; a lovely thing because there's so much of it!

Hi! Nice to hear from you! Terry Pratchett never fails to amaze me. The man's a genius. Which of his books have you read?

More than half of them by now,I should think. The Sam Vimes novels are my favorites; I also enjoy the Moist von Lipwig and Granny Weatherwax ones; they're all great!

Sam Vimes is great. I started with the ones about the witches, and Death, and moved on to the other characters. "Going Postal" is one of the most recent ones I've read.

I stay crunchy in milk!

(Well, it's good for my bones at any rate, I'm told. Yay calcium!)

Um, I dunno. What would you like to know about me?

It's good to know that you stay crunchy in milk. :) That's an excellent quality in a person, as well as a cereal.

Who are your favorite filk musicians?

We're just figments of your imagination. :)

My imagination isn't that good. Real people always manage to surprise you.

I'm crunchy in... hmmm, that's been covered.

I eat my pickle in between halves of sandwiches. Depending on the sandwich, I prefer them sour (eg dill). Sweet pickles are a condiment.

Whole or sliced? I use sliced pickles (dill) in a lot of sandwich varieties. Also with fried fish.

I like sweet gherkins or other sweet pickles as appetizers sometimes. My grandmother's watermelon pickles were wonderful.

Preferably whole, though spears are okay. The dill-er the better for the proper sandwiches: eg roast beef, Rueben and such.

Sweet pickles (sliced) go great on hamburgers (at which point I use mustard and not ketchup). I don't know about appetizers, but I'll smack on pickles. Either the smaller sweet ones, or the big juicy Kosher Dills.

Watermelon pickles sound great!

Grandma's watermelon pickles were little works of art: like stained glass in appearance and Sooo sweet and spicy. It's a pity she didn't pass the skill on to any of her descendents (that I know of.)

I'm a purist when it comes to condiments. Pickles are about the only thing that appeals to me. They're (dill) the only thing I'll put on burgers (aside from BBQ sauce, bacon and cheese.)

I keep a can of spaghettios in my kitchen for emotional emergencies.

I always wanted spaghettios when I was a kid, but Mom said they were too expensive.

Now my cravings are for things like nuts and chocolate - even more expensive. :)

Spaghettios are not actually that good compared to real spaghetti.

I can't think of anything you should know because I already talk about pretty much everything on my LJ.

LOL I just bought a box of mac & cheese for emergencies. I ate the last one a couple of weeks ago. A few times a year, I just have to have mac & cheese.
